World Heritage Site Weekend 4th to 6th November 2011
As part of the Durham World Heritage Site celebrations this weekend (which include tours, talks, concerts, children’s activities and interactive theatre experiences), Durham University (Musicon) and Durham Cathedral are jointly hosting: Concert of Górecki: Polish Spirituals Performed by the Polish Radio Choir, and conducted byArtur Sędzielarz on Saturday 5th November 2011, 7:30pm, in Durham Cathedral. Ticket prices are £14 (concession £10) and £10 (concession £6).
We are organising a special ‘Gold’ package which will include an enhanced programme on the evening of 5th November:
6:00pm Pre-concert buffet in the Cathedral Restaurant
6:45pm Talk by Professor Adrian Thomas, Professor of Music at Cardiff University School of Music and a specialist in Polish Music
7:30pm Concert - Premium Nave seat
9:30pm Post-concert drink in the Prior’s Hall, Cathedral
10:30pm End
