Dear Friends,

Sunday Dreams: For All Our Relations
by Ya'Acov

This article is a call to create something magnificent together.

I’m writing this on the train from Friedrichshafen to Warsaw (via Ulm and Koln for anyone interested!) where I’ve just been to visit our beloved friend and student, Erika Seitz. She has been battling cancer for quite a while now. She’s a remarkable woman, so strong in spirit and now she needs our strength as the strength of her body gives out.

Connections and manifestation
by Susannah

I wanted to write to you about the process and mystery of manifestation, having an idea, a wish and turning it, or not, into earthly reality. Its something that we all are involved with, on many levels, whether its manifesting doing the washing up, sending off that letter, insulating the loft, or bringing into being a huge project which transforms the wider world in some way.

Hey...Ya'acov is coming to Cork in lovely Ireland. Its been long awaited because he hasn't been here for a long time.

Equilibrium of the Heart
by Stefanie Wilcox

Having booked to dance this workshop only the previous day, which was very last minute for me, I found myself in an unusual place for starting one of the more in-depth workshops run by Ya'acov and Susannah. Normally I would become increasingly aware of the fact I would be dancing ‘something big’ for weeks beforehand, however this time I’d convinced myself that Ya’acov would visit Manchester but it wouldn’t be the time for me to dance. Then suddenly and surprisingly, just 24 hours before the workshop was to begin, circumstances conspired to make it possible for me to attend.

The dance of life (and death)
by Julia Hope Brightwell

When I first came to dance with Susannah and Ya’Acov I was thrilled by the freedom to express whatever I wanted to, supported by the music and the instruction. Dancing alone I found a platform to express hidden parts of me that had never had the space or time to emerge anywhere before in my life and I was filled with gratitude for being given the opportunity for this expression.

The Value of Structure
by ClemensJenewein

I've been dancing the Rhythms now for about 3 years. I've been trying so many things to change my life. I've been in despair, I've screamed, I prayed, I did everything I could think of to find a way of living my life in a joyful way. Since I got introduced to the Rhythms, a lot happened.

It Happened Ten Years Ago
By SabineFireEagle,  Five Rhythms Dancer and Medicine Woman who lives on the worldbiosphere reservation  El Hierro,  where she runs a centre.

In fact, I would call it a love story.
We had met before and the day came that we knew each other. He held a
gift in his feet and put it on the altar of our relationship:

the Five Rhythms.  I held the Medicine Wheel wisdom of the North American Indians in
my heart and offered it to him.

Snake Medicine

My spine calls for you

And there at the center,

In the eye of the storm

Neurons firing

Translating movement, thought, feeling

Amongst each other

Braiding and unbraiding

Stillness

Stillness,

As I sit in my garden

Knowing that all around the day is starting

Coffee drinking, cars coughing, parents cajoling

Rhythms & Tides 29.3.-1.4.07
by Petra Cegla

Having been born on a pile of sandy earth I never thought it would happen to me: feeling lost between high and low tide… During my whole life I have been sitting near the sea especially in certain times: puberty (not knowing whether I was male or female), when I was in love (several times...) when I was out of love (several times...), when I felt deeply sad because my mother passed away or when I realized that I did not fight deeply enough to keep my partnership going...
