Glamorgan University's expertise and success in Procurement and supply management is recognised by the UK's professional body CIPS
The School has been designated as a Centre of Excellence by the the UK Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS).
This prestigious accolade is due to all aspects of CIPS provision excelling, and the examination results trend equalling or exceeding the national average. There are only 13 centres of excellence out of 81 UK providers.
Business School Director Professor Michael Quayle said,
"This recognition is important both locally, nationally & internationally to all our stakeholders. It reflects the excellence of our world class proven capability in this area of our curriculum and I am absolutely delighted by the award".
The university runs CIPS professional qualifications alongside its own undergraduate and Masters level qualifications in procurement and supply management, but for those already professionally qualified executives, the off-campus top-up programme is an ideal way to obtain a prestigious Masters level qualification.
